Canada Admission Checklist


Canada offers two major intakes for international students applying to universities and colleges:

πŸ“… Fall Intake – Starts in September (Application deadlines: January – April)
πŸ“… Winter Intake – Starts in January (Application deadlines: June – September)

Some institutions also offer a Summer Intake (May), but it is available for limited programs.

  • Universities: 8-12 weeks
  • Colleges: 2-4 weeks

Checklist of Documents Required for Admission

For Bachelor’s & Master’s Programs (University Admission)

βœ… Academic Transcripts:

  • 10th Grade Certificate (Attested by the Principal in a sealed envelope)
  • 12th Grade/Diploma Certificate (Attested by the Principal in a sealed envelope)
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree – Individual mark sheets (Attested by Controller/Registrar in a sealed envelope)
  • Consolidated Mark Sheet/Provisional/Degree/Course Completion Certificate (Attested by Controller/Registrar in a sealed envelope)

βœ… English Language Proficiency Test:

  • IELTS/TOEFL/PTE – Copy with attestation (Official score reporting to the university is required)
  • GRE/GMAT (if applicable) – Copy with attestation

βœ… Letters of Recommendation (LORs) – Three Required (in sealed covers)
1️⃣ From a Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer who has taught the student
2️⃣ From the Head of Department (HOD)
3️⃣ From the Principal

For Diploma & College Programs
