Mr.Srikanth Kulkarni, a very close friend has played an instrumental role at Impel in identifying investors initially. Dr. Manohar, Co-Founder of Impel has taken the initiative for investments and involved with the whole process in founding the company.

The first founders of Impel have come together and agreed to form a limited company and applied for the name availability from the Registrar of Companies.

The Registrar of Companies has approved the name, IMPEL OVERSEAS LIMITED. The name Impel means ‘to drive’ and this name was coined by Mr. Mahesh Ramanujam., a friend of Mr. Srikanth Kulkarni.

Impel received its first agreement from Melbourne Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management [Australia].

Impel received its business commencement certificate from ROC and its entitled to commence the business. Upon which impel could open a bank account and collect initial funding from the initial promoters to commence the operations.
